RADIOLOGY

The Radiology Department at Crete Area Medical Center is staffed by Board Certified Radiologic Technologists from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am to 6:00pm Friday, and 8:00am-12:00pm Saturday. We are available 24 hours a day for Emergency procedures. Our department offers in-house X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Tomography, portable exams, c-arm(surgical) exams, Mammography, Computerized Tomography(CT), and Ultrasound. We also offer mobile services in the following areas: MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Echocardiograms, Doppler Studies, and Bone Densitometry.

Routine services are offered on the following days and times:

X-ray/Tomography/CT: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm
Fluoroscopy: Tuesday and Friday mornings
Ultrasound: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
MRI: Monday mornings and Wednesday afternoons
Mammograms: Tuesday mornings and Wednesday afternoons
Doppler/Echo: Monday and Thursday mornings
Bone Densitometry: Once a month
Nuclear Medicine: 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings

All films a read by a Board Certified Radiologist. The films are read on a routine basis Monday thru Friday and a Radiologist is available at the Medical Center Tuesday and Friday mornings. The radiologist is also available 24 hours a day for Emergency procedures needing a stat reading.
