Crete Area Medical Center Health Fair

Mark your calendar to attend the annual Crete Area Medical Center Health Fair to be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Tuxedo Park along with the Chamber of Commerce Home & Garden Show beginning at 7:00AM. Besides health and safety information including Operation Life Saver, some health screenings will be available including the Lion's Hearing and Vision screening bus. Make sure to check out the Balance Machine at the CAMC Physical Therapy booth. The CAMC lab staff will offer discounted blood draws from 7:00AM to 10:00AM including the following tests:

· Health Fair Profile - $35.00
· Lipid Panel only - $20.00
· Prostatic Specific Antigen (PSA) - $20.00

Please note that Crete Area Medical Center will not file insurance of Medicare for any of the above tests. Those wishing to have their blood drawn should fast for at least eight hours prior to testing. However, you should drink water before these tests. Juice, coffee, bagels and fruit will be available after the draws for those wishing to have a snack. Results will be mailed to the patient in about a week. If individuals have questions about their results they should contact their physician.
